Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We confirmed volatile anesthetic-induced and GLP-1-induced cardiac postconditioning protects against ischemia-reperfusion injury in mice. Additionally, our results show that volatile anesthetic-induced cardiac postconditioning protection is dependent on GLP-1 activation.
