| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
LHC experiment is world highest particle collider experiment, and luminosity upgrade is scheduled for future experiment. Then we need to develop the new devices for ATLAS detector for upgrading experiment. I have stayed at CERN in Geneve, Switzerland, and researched the following items as international collaboration;
(1) Aging study fo ATLAS Micromegas using high flux gamma ray, (2) New detector development for ATLAS phase-II upgrade, (3) R&D of suppressing the spark in large scale ATLAS Micromegas, (4) Collaborative research of DLC for MPGD electrodes.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
LHC実験は世界最高の衝突エネルギー（13TeV)を持ち、エネルギーフロンティアを観測するための唯一の探針である。ヒッグス粒子の詳細な性質や、標準理論の先を探索するためには、高い統計量のデータが必要であり、そのために加速器・検出器いずれも輝度アップグレードに対応した研究開発が必要である。本研究は新物理現象に感度の高いミューオン検出器のアップグレードに関わるもので、実験サイトである現地に滞在し、検出器アップグレードに関する様々な共同研究を行うことで、検出器高度化に対する大きな貢献をした。
