Outline of Annual Research Achievements

In these months, I have cultured the T cells which express a specific T cell receptor, and the APCs (Antigen presenting cell) which present a specific antigen for the T cell. And also I have cultured another APC which presents a wrong paired antigen for that T cell as a negative control.
I have tried to identify the recognized T cell-APC pair in the mixture of T cells and APCs using a microscope. Using imaging, I have successfully found a pair of T cell interacted with its specific recognized APC. I also have tried to extract the T-cell-APC pairs from the solution.
For the high-throughput scanning, I have checked the scanning rate of the current microscope, it can scan more than 10^5 cells per 5 mins.
Until my cancellation of this grant, the other steps of my research plan are still ongoing.
