Outline of Final Research Achievements |
High speed cache algorithm implementation is an important research challenge for Information Centric Networking (ICN), i.e., a candidate of the future Internet architecture. We design a cache algorithm which inserts the only popular packets in to a cache. This algorithm called a cache admission algorithm provides both high cache hit rates and high-speed packet forwarding. We validate the designed algorithm with simulations and prototype implementation.
