Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Strawberry anthracnose resistance of Japanese new strawberry cultivar 'Koiminori' as was investigated; It was found that 'Koiminori' was resistant to Colletotrichum siamense but susceptible to C. fructicola. Our studies are the first to demonstrate separate anthracnose resistances of strawberry plants. RNA-Seq experiments using two groups of F1 seedlings were also conducted to identify two resistance genes.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
