Outline of Final Research Achievements

The loss of heterozygosity in HLA lesion has been reported in relapsed leukemic cell after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (Allo-HSCT). Because the patients who had relapsed their disease after Allo-HSCT were apparently worth prognosis, we investigated whether new method used SS-SBT method could detect the LOH or not and compared the conventional micro-satellite sequencing (MS) method. The detection rates were 33% in MS method, however, 100% in SS-SBT method. It seems that next generation sequencing method has high power of detection for HLA-LOH.
