Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In our in vivo study, pharmacokinetics and histopathological findings of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) using drug-eluting beads (DEB-TACE) were evaluated in a rabbit VX2 liver tumor model. As a result of our in vivo study, small size microspheres can contribute to the better distribution of microspheres and a higher drug concentration in non-hypervascular liver tumors such as VX2 tumor.
