Research Abstract |
I have gained historical newspapers as 'Tokyo Akebono Shinbun' 'Tokyo Eiri Shinbun' `Osakanippou' `Ukiyo Shinbun' `Iroha Shinbun' 'Eiri Jiyuu Shinbun' `Jiyuutou', and so on, by using a reserch assistant. However, there are still many newspapers that I have not gained. As for the listing of articles for newspapers, I have completed the lists for `Nissinsinjisi' 'Yuubinhouchi Shinbun' `Chouya Shinbun' 'Yomiuri Shinbun' 'Tokyo Eiri Shinbun', and `Kanayomi Shinbun', from the 1872 to 1885. By these list, it was found that such major newapaper as 'Yuubinhouchi sinbun' and `Chyouya sinbun' had serialized storys. Therefore, serialized fiction came to be appeared on newspapers by the end of the 1885s.
