Nehari多様体上には汎関数の値を最小にする関数が存在しない場合やPalais-Smale条件が崩れる等、臨界点を求めるのに困難が伴う汎関数が対応する楕円型方程式に対し、正値解や符号変化解の存在やその多重性についての結果を得た。
