| Research Abstract |
レッドデータブックの編纂(環境省)のように, 人間活動の拡大によって, 植物資源が年々, 減少・絶滅している。これに対して生育している個体そのものやその環境を守る対策が望まれている。種子による遺伝資源の保存は, 有性生殖の特性を生かしながらできるので, 最も自然の法則にかなった手法である。本申請では, 種子による植物遺伝資源の保存を行うための種子発芽習性に関する実験や観察調査を行った。その結果同一分類群の中での属間での芽ばえの違い, ギボウシ, ヤブラン, ジャノヒゲなどの在来植物の種子の貯蔵条件, マユミ種子を貯蔵した時の発芽率の向上法, 近年国内でも急速に増えつつある外来植物の種子発芽習性に関する新知見を得た。
