Outline of Final Research Achievements

As a series of new scattering imaging techniques based on a data-centric method, estimating the input / output response of a scattering medium by machine learning, we have developed super-resolution diffraction imaging, incoherent coded aperture imaging, computer generated hologram based on deep learning, machine-learning-based wavefront sensing, multimodal sensing by a compound eye optical system, and 3D speckle correlation imaging. The effectiveness in observing a real sample was confirmed by a holographic microscope and super-resolution illumination imaging.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

散乱媒質中の物体情報を復元する散乱イメージングは幅広い分野で利用されるが、強散乱媒質については、理論に基づいたモデルだけでは有効な方法は見つかっていない。本研究は、悪条件下においても、散乱媒質の入出力応答だけから高性能なイメージングを可能にする一連の技術を提示し、それらの有効性を示している。また、イメージング分野における人工知能技術の効果的な活用法を提示し、今後の技術展開に対する多くの示唆を与えている。
