| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the event of a disaster, a smooth evacuation is required. However, the evacuation rate in Japan is meager (i.e., 3.9 %). Then it is challenging to call homes for evacuation within a limited time. In the study, we proposed and evaluated a smartphone detection method to support effective and efficient evacuation calls by firefighters.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究課題における学術的・社会的意義な点は次の2点にまとめられる。(1)スマートフォンの探知に向けて、様々な無線端末から得られる情報の意味付けと関連性を明らかにすることは学術的な特色がある。(2)センサ側が移動し、様々な情報が取得される状況の中でスマートフォンの存在を探知する点、及び実際の社会ニーズを考慮した上での研究設定は社会的意義がある。本研究成果は、減災に向けて、ICTを利活用した効率的かつ効果的な救助活動につながり、また、単に未避難者を探知するだけでなく、避難所に避難している人数の把握等にも応用可能である。
