| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Chronic dizziness often cause unsteadiness, lightheadness, nausea, and cause patients immovable. This situation may cause worse dizziness guide chronic dizziness to a vicious cycle. We focused on why patients become immovable, and quantified immovable situation. Through thess data, we created a new program for each individual vestibular rehabilitation, and be able to perform at home for all patients. Details were reported on our each articles.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
慢性めまいの治療は、蔓延的に不適切な投薬を続けられている上、症状改善しない現状に対して、まず疾患の解明を行い、さらに明視化が困難であった症状を数字化し、解析することにより、慢性めまいの治療に貢献した。その結果、患者が長年抱えた不安を解消し、不適切な投薬の中止をすることによって経済的効果に貢献した。さらに新たなる治療として薬物を必要としないリハビリテーションにより、患者が在宅でもできる治療を考案し、国民の健康を守る方向に研究を貢献することができた。
