| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research project, we carried out several case studies of Japanese secondary school teachers who utilized classroom English-language proficiency benchmarks for their lesson improvement and professional development. On the website, we explained the details of several classroom English-language proficiency benchmarks and how to utilize them and reported the findings of these practitioners’ case studies.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本プロジェクトで開発された尺度は、実際に教師の英語授業改善や専門的技能の向上のために活用された事例をまとめたものであり、尺度とともの活用方法や事例がホームページで広く公開されている。高等学校ばかりでなく中学校の指導要領においても「英語の授業は英語で」と示されている今日、教師が個人だけでなく仲間と共に校内研修や自己研修などに取り組む上で参考になるものであり、その社会的意義は極めて大きいと言える。
