| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We obtain several results concerning Katok-Sarnak type correspondences, related Dirichlet series and relevant arithmetical topics. For examples, we establish a Katok-Sarnak type correspondence for Poincare series on higher dimensional hyperbolic space, analytic continuation of Mitsui's Dirichlet series associated to half-integral hermitian matrices, some congruences between class numbers of quadratic orders and Hirzebruch sums. Also, we evaluate regularized Petersson norms of several Eisenstein series to extend some period formulas.

興味深い現象に対する具体例を明示的に提供できたことが研究成果の学術的意義として挙げられる。二次体に限らず二次整環で議論することの有用性が認識できたことも重要である。得られた成果は継続して研究するに値する内容を含んでおり、今後の関連分野の発展に寄与するものと考えている。徳島県の高校生を対象とする数学オリンピック講習会の話題として成果の一部を取り上げ、数学への興味を引くことに寄与できたと思われる。これは広い意味での社会的意義と言えなくもない。
