Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Ischemia-reperfusion injury remains unsolved critical issue which lacks any specific prevention and treatment under the era of development in revascularization. Here, we found novel disease mechanisms of ischemia-reperfusion injury by comprehensively analyzing bioactive lipid metabolites (lipid mediators), which we have developed as LC/MS/MS system-based metabololipidomics. These findings unveil a detailed pathological mechanism of ischemia-reperfusion organ injury and suggest a novel therapeutic approach.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
