Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we developed an SpM method that incorporates the physical properties of basis functions. As a result, we have constructed a fast spectral decomposition algorithm for spectral data such as XPS. Furthermore, an efficient data analysis method for synchrotron radiation data analysis was constructed based on the theoretical formulae, and the method was extended to ultrafast spectroscopy as an example of application to time series data.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

本研究では基底関数の物理特性を組み込んだスパースモデリング手法を開発し、計測データ解析への展開を行った。放射光データを対象にした解析法は、新規解析法として新規機能性材料や、熱電材料、二次電池の固体電解質材料等の物質の構造解明に応用され、電池の高機能化や長寿命化などに貢献することが期待される。また、コヒーレントフォノン計測への解析法は、光誘起構造相転移の光励起直後の初期ダイナミクスの解明等で重要な計測法で、 物性物理学の様々な分野で盛んに研究が行われている。このように、スパースモデリングを汎用的に計測データへの解析に展開することで広範囲の波及効果が得られると考えられる。
