Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I developed chiroptical measurement assisted by surface plasmon resonance to analyze microscopic chiral samples spectroscopically. The detection sensitivity of chiral molecules is improved by introducing nonlinear optical detection mode into surface plasmon ellipsometry. I also achieved novel circular dichroism spectrometer for bulk solutions chiral molecules, that has simple configuration consisting two linear polarizer and a quarter wave plate.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
