Research Abstract

毒性・繁殖等の個体レベルの影響評価およびDNAマイクロアレイをはじめとした分子レベルの影響評価が可能な生物である線虫をモデル生物として環境化学物質の影響を多様な手法で調査し,得られた影響評価結果を結び付けたエコトキシコゲノミクスの基盤を作ることができた.また,インフォマティクスを駆使することで線虫によって観察された化学物質の生物影響からヒトをはじめとした他の生物に対する影響が推定できる可能性も示すことができた.
