Research Abstract

船の操縦運動は航空機に比べて相対的に前進速度が低速であることから、操縦運動中の流体力は船の運動履歴の影響を少なからず受け、非定常な流体力が存在する。これが、操縦運動の推定を困難にする要因にもなっており、各国が新しい推定法の構築を急いでいる。本研究では、操縦運動中の複雑な流体力を実験的に明らかにする一方、ナビエ・ストークス方程式の数値解法を行う数値流体力学(Computational Fluid Dynamics : CFD)を操縦運動中に適用することを試みた。その結果これまで、CFDは操縦運動中の定常流体力の推定にとどまっていたが、本研究によって、非定常流体力を含む操縦運動流体力の複雑な流体力の推定を可能にし、船舶操縦運動をより精度よく推定できる手法を構築することができた。
