Research Abstract |
A series of research based on the multi-dimensional hierarchical model was conducted to clarify the changing process of physical self-concept and self-esteem. As a result, it is understood to be able to explain the relationship between physical fitness and the self-esteem by assuming physical self-concepts between them. It is also suggested that it is important to notice own changes or growth to link to the changes of self-concepts and self-esteem. Moreover, the top-down type model and the bottom-up type model are assumed, and it is clarified that both models hypothesized are effective.
