Research Abstract

本研究は,口腔粘膜への圧縮力が粘膜の細胞を刺激し,これによって産生された因子が粘膜直下の顎の骨の代謝に及ぼす影響を検討することを目的に行われた。口腔粘膜の細胞あるいは破骨細胞に圧縮負荷を与えると,粘膜細胞は炎症および骨吸収に関わる因子の産生を促進することが明らかとなった。また,圧縮刺激が破骨細胞の分化に必須な因子の活性を促進することを明らかにし,破骨細胞活性に関わる蛋白質およびいくつかの小分子化合物を新規に特定した。
