Research Abstract

本研究は、わが国の特別養護老人ホームにおいてすでに制度化され施設介護の手法として定着しつつあるユニットケアを規定する諸要因を抽出し、社会学的な分析をおこなったものである.具体的には、宮城県内の全ての特別養護老人ホームを対象として実施した質問紙調査により得られたデータをもとに、それぞれの施設の職員配置やユニットリーダーの位置と役割について解析した.また、ユニットケアの運営形態ごとに選定した複数の施設の事例をとりあげ、集中的な分析をおこなった.この事例分析においては、参与観察にもとづいて作成した行動記録や会話記録のほか、運営主体や介護職員、入居者、家族に対する聴取調査の結果を資料として蓄積し、分析の対象とした.
