| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Against the background of the growing emphasis on quality assurance in higher education in recent years, professional development for faculty and staff who take on the responsibility of supporting an ever more diverse student body is increasingly important. These staff and faculty (hereafter called “learning supporters”) need to provide detailed and complex support for each student, so they should develop their abilities as professionals.
Through examining reflection by these learning supporters, this research aims to find common attitudes and codes of behavior. Based on the research, items of description for a learning supporter’s portfolio are suggested. A handbook in Q&A format for learning supporters, which collected the cases of learning supporters, has been created and will be published in the end of June, 2022.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
学習支援の実践において面談などの個別的な学生対応を行う場面は少なくない。そのため、学習支援者は各々の経験をもとにした学生対応を行っている。経験から得られた知識や方法について共有する機会、学習支援に特化した能力開発の機会は多くはない。本研究の社会的意義として、以下の3点が挙げられる。学習支援者による実践の省察を通じて、(1)学習支援の実践のモデル化をはかり、共有するためのハンドブックを作成したこと、(2)学習支援者に特化したポートフォリオの記載項目を提案したこと、これらの過程において（3）ワークショップ等の学習支援者を対象とした能力開発を試行したことである。
