Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We clarified that making mathematics exhibits lead to outreach activities in mathematics, and is useful approach to the study of teaching materials. We proposed the ideal way of participatory exhibitions at scientific events, created new mathematical exhibits, presented them with graduate students. We devised exercise subjects using exhibitions in science museum in professional school for teacher education. We considered and proposed for new subjects ‘Risu tankyu kiso’ and ‘Risu tankyu’. We analyzed the math consideration of high school students at SSH school and researched on teaching materials on unsolved problems in mathematics. We also promoted teacher training adaptable for ‘Risu tankyu’ and mathematical inquisition. As a result of mathematics research, we discovered new results in knot theory.

科学教育学,数学教育学,教科内容学の研究を推進した.近年,注目されているSTEAM教育とも関連させて,美術や音楽と関連付けた理数教材や数学展示物を提案した.結び目理論においては,結び目の影の研究を推進した. 社会的には,2022年度より実施される高等学校の新課程で新設される科目「理数探究基礎」「理数探究」への具体的な提案をした.科学館での演示や教室,出前講義,公開講座などを通じて,算数・数学を幼児・小学生・中学生・高校生・大人へ発信することができた.さらに,よりよい演示法を研究し,成果を発信した.数学探究のための未解決問題紹介サイトを開設した.
