| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a Japanese version of "Anger Rumination Scale for Children". We also reviewed studies related to anger coping among elementary and junior high school students. Furthermore, we analyzed the number and percentage of violent acts and bullying in the MEXT survey. We then developed a child anger coping scale for elementary and junior high school students.
As for research on psychological education for anger management, we reviewed studies related to classroom-based anger management. We also reviewed practical research on classroom-based stress management and social skills education for elementary and junior high school students. We then developed and implemented a class program and clarified its effectiveness by analyzing junior high school students' class evaluations and feedback.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
怒り対処の基礎研究の結果、これまでの怒り対処の研究では向社会的な側面の測定が不十分であったことが示され、「子ども用怒り対処尺度」により、こういった向社会的な側面を含む怒り対処を幅広く測定することが可能となった。また、小中学生における生徒間暴力が引き続き多いことも明らかとなり、生徒同士の人間関係づくりの重要性が改めて示された。
怒り対処を促す心理教育プログラムが開発されたことで、スクールカウンセラー等が実施する心理教育に、エビデンスベーストなプログラムが選択肢として追加された。
