| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We studied serum concentration of S1P during peripheral blood(PB) stem cell mobilization. Serum level of S1P weekly correlated with number of mobilized PB stem cell. We also studied relative expression of S1P receptors, S1PR1~5 by realtime PCR and confirmed that S1PR4 expressed higher than other hematopoietic cells. Cell migration assay revealed the importance of S1PRs in stem cell mobilization.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
スフィンゴシン１リン酸(S1P)が末梢血幹細胞動員にjおける重要性を臨床検体で示した。また、S1P受容体ファミリーの発現の違いが、さまざまな造血細胞の中でも、それぞれ特徴的なパターンを示したことは大変重要な事実である。動員される末梢血幹細胞ではS1PR4の発現が高く、その生物学的な意味がさらに明らかにされれば今後幹細胞動員の改善にむけて標的となる分子になる可能性がある。
