| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to develop a serious game which perform a rehabilitation of the lower limbs with fun and safe. The system uses a projector to project a target onto the floor, and the user is able to perform a rehabilitation of the lower limbs by stepping on the target. We proposed a non-contact and stable method by using a TV camera to detect whether or not the target was stepped on. The method proposed in this study was able to detect that the target was stepped on with an accuracy of 95.3%. This system has the function that points are added when the user steps on the target. By using this system, the user can perform rehabilitation enjoyably as if playing a game.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
床面にターゲットを表示し、利用者がターゲットを足で踏むことによって下肢のリハビリテーションを行うシステムの開発を行った。ターゲットを踏んだかどうかの判定はTVカメラの映像を処理することにより行った。判定には二次元相関係数を用い、高い精度で判定を行うことができた。この時の精度は95.3%であった。また、ターゲットの表示位置を調節することにより負荷を変える機能や危険を検出した場合は緊急停止する機能を実装することができた。病院でこのシステムの実地テストを行う予定であったが新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で実施できなかったため、新型コロナウイルス感染症が終息した後に実地テストを実施する予定である。
