Research Abstract

地上部の重力屈性が低下したイネ突然変異体lazy1の原因遺伝子を同定し、その産物(LAZY1)はイネ幼葉鞘において、重力受容とオーキシン不均等分配の間で必須な因子として機能していること、回旋運動にも必須な因子であることを明らかにした。イネ幼葉鞘の重力屈性にはLAZY1を介するシグナル伝達と介さないシグナル伝達が関与することも示唆された。さらに、シロイヌナズナに存在するホモログ(AtLAZY1)の機能について形質転換体を用いて解析し、AtLAZY1はシロイヌナズナにおいても地上部の重力屈性に関与していること、主に維管束に沿って発現し、細胞内では主に核に分布することを明らかにした。
