| Research Abstract |
17, 18世紀西洋の合理主義哲学が重視した「ア・プリオリな認識」という概念について、現代の認識論上の議論と対決しながらその意義を明らかにした。「ア・プリオリな認識」は「経験に依存しない」認識と定義されるが、経験と無関係に得られる知ではない。それは、経験を通して事象の構造・本質を悟ることである。20世紀以降の多くの議論が「経験に依存しない」を「経験と無関係」であると誤解し、ア・プリオリを論理学や数学の形式的体系の特性のことであると解している。この誤解は、現代の論理教育のあり方にも悪影響を及ぼしていると考えられる。
