Research Abstract

筆者らはこれまでにMEMS技術を利用し、微小な生物・化学センサを集積したデバイス開発を目指している。これは極微量の血液・体液に含まれる抗体や蛋白の種類を認識し、電気信号に変換するためのセンサ素子である。本研究では、電気回路内に種々のバイオセンサ素子を高密度に配列化するための方法の確立を目指した。第1番目に、ガラス基板上に電極センサを構築し、その電極上に薄膜を形成させ、この薄膜表面に細胞由来の生化学物質が固定化できるように化学構造を最適化した。この表面にIgG(イムノグロブリン)抗原を集積させ、IgG抗体の応答についてセンサ応答性機能を調査した。この結果、電極に電流を負荷させると条件によっては電極や薄膜が崩壊し、信号の検出が難しいことが分かった。そのため第2段階の検討事項として、薄膜に添加物を加えることによる安定な信号検出が可能なセンサ電極表面の製造方法を検討し、特許出願を行った。
