Research Abstract |
Edaravone, a free radical scavenger, has been shown to be neuroprotective in in vivo and in vitro conditions. However, the impact of small temperature variations on the molecule remains unknown. Our study found that the temperature of the CNS is a potential factor in determining whether edaravone confers a potent neuroprotective effect when applied during prolonged hypoxic insults.
