Research Abstract

口腔扁平上皮癌の頸部リンパ節転移に関わる分子生物学的背景を明らかにするため、2,386個のBACクローンを搭載した高解像度全ゲノムCGHアレイを用いて、同一症例より同時に採取された5対(10検体)の原発巣/転移巣由来DNAについてアレイCGH解析を行った。その結果、原発巣には認められない転移巣特有の変異が検出され、複数例の転移巣に共通する高度の変異も認められた。既知の転移関連遺伝子のコードされていない異常領域もいくつか見出され、これらの領域に未知の転移関連遺伝子が含まれている可能性が示唆された。
