Research Abstract

本研究では、流体管理技術の確立へ向け、主として宇宙機の推進薬タンク内部の自由表面流を対象とし、その熱流動特性を実験と数値解析の両面から詳しく調べた。加速度振幅を様々に変えた実験を通じ、密閉容器内部における液体揺動(スロッシング)の規模と圧力変動の相関を定量的に整理した。その結果、スワールモードや砕波などの非線形的な液体揺動の出現と容器内圧力変化に強い相関が確認され、容器内の気相への熱伝達が著しく促進されることが確認された。また、関連する流体機器の設計に不可欠な基盤技術として、自由表面流の数値解析手法(CIP-LSM)を高度化し、気液界面での物理量不連続を1 計算格子以内で捕捉するとともに、気相側の状態方程式を考慮しつつ温度場の解析を可能にする界面熱伝達モデルおよび相変化モデルを考案した。
