Research Abstract

アカシア・マンギウムは、パルプ用材として重要な熱帯早生樹であるが、分子育種に必要な遺伝子情報はほとんど整備されていない。本研究では、アカシア・マンギウム遺伝子情報を整備するため、1万弱の配列からなる分化中の木部およびシュートの発現配列タグ(EST)を作製した。これらのEST は、電子計算機を用いた配列解析に供し、6,252個の重複のない配列に統合された。これらの配列につき、インターネットを通じて検索可能なデータベースを作成した。
