Research Abstract

観測データ及び数値モデルを用いて、山陰沿岸での有害藻類赤潮発生機構を明らかにした。過去の発生事例解析から、2002年以降に山陰沿岸で発生したコクロディニウム赤潮は、対馬暖流上流域から輸送された海流依存型赤潮である可能性が高く、この赤潮は、対馬暖流上流域の大規模発生、対馬海峡周辺の南西風、山陰沖の対馬暖流の接岸流路、という3つの要因が揃ったときに発生することが示唆された。
