Research Abstract |
本研究は植物ホルモン・オーキシンの2 つの化合物、2,4-ジクロロフェノキシ酢酸(2,4-D)とインドール-3 酢酸(IAA)の採用機作の違いを明らかにする目的で行われた。2,4-D とIAAに対する表現系が異なるシロイヌナズナSMAP1タンパク質欠損変異体の根を用いた解析から、2,4-DあるいはIAA処理で見られるアクチン分解やアポトーシスに差があることを見出し、SMAP1が重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかになった。さらに、イネではSMAP1の発現が低いことも見出し、2,4-D が示す単子葉特異的除草性を関連していることが示唆された。
