Research Abstract

本研究では、強相関電子系酸化物薄膜の測定に適した走査型トンネル顕微鏡システムを構築し、大気暴露後の試料表面の清浄化法を探索するとともに、ナノスケールでの表面・界面電子物性測定を試みることを目的とした。現在までに顕微鏡システムの基本性能を確認したが、未だ対象とする酸化物薄膜試料において表面清浄化の結論は得られていない。今後各種手法による表面清浄化を試み、また様々な試料系において物性測定を行うとともに、プローブ顕微鏡探針からの電界や電子注入による物性の改変、光近接場、また吸着原子・分子を介して、磁性を含めその表面・界面物性の制御を試みたい。
