Research Abstract

歯科における切削騒音が患者に不快感を与えている現状改善のために, 本研究課題では, (1)歯科切削騒音の超音波領域を含む音響特性の把握すること, (2)主観的な印象である不快感に関与する音響物理要因について解明することを目的に研究を行った。その結果騒音レベルの低減だけでは対策として不十分であることを示し, 音響パラメータであるシャープネスや変動強度への対策が歯科切削音による不快感軽減に必要不可欠であることを示した。これらの成果は今後効果的な新規デバイス開発に応用できるものである。
