| Outline of Research at the Start |
総排泄腔遺残症は、女児にのみ発生する、胎生期に尿道・膣・直腸が分離不全を来し、排泄孔を一つしか持たない先天的難治性稀少泌尿生殖器疾患である。出生直後からの複数回の手術により生殖器に後遺症状を伴うため、思春期には恋愛や性交、妊娠等に支障を来す場合が多い。そのため患者には性に関する特別な配慮が必要であるが、セクシャルヘルスへの支援には母親の役割が不可欠であり、本研究結果より母親を含めた支援システムの構築を目指す。具体的には、国内複数の病院で通院治療を受けている総排泄腔遺残症患者とその母親を対象に調査を行い、母親による患者への家庭内性教育の実情と母子関係の特徴、およびそれらの関連について検討する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We conducted a questionnaire survey of female university students regarding the relationship between mother-daughter relationships, domestic sex education, sexual risk coping awareness, and the students' sexual behavior. The results were announced at a luncheon seminar entitled "Someday talking about sex with children ..." in a nationwide exchange meeting on cloaca residual disease patients and a public lecture (held by Zoom). We also conducted a questionnaire to understand the reaction to the seminar.

母子関係の特徴が家庭内性教育の実情にどのように影響を及ぼしているかについて理解することができ、セクシャルヘルス向上における母子関係の重要性を提言できることができた。また、研究成果を総排泄腔遺残症患者やその家族と共有することができた。
