| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は、初唐・中唐期に於ける六朝修辞主義文学受容の内実を解明するものである。
太宗と上官儀との言に代表されるように、初唐期に於いて六朝期の修辞的文学は理念の上では否定されていた。しかし宮廷詩人達は、六朝期の修辞主義的文学を積極的に受容し、詠物詩等の煌びやかな詩を制作している。本研究は先ず、初唐期の六朝美文に対する屈折した現象の内実を解き明かす。
次段階として、中唐期の古文復興運動に於いて、六朝美文の全てが批判の対象としてではなかったことを、権徳輿の『玉台體』詩に焦点を当てて明らかにする。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research aims to clarify how 『玉臺新詠』was accepted and overcome during the early Tang and the mid-Tang period. The early Tang period in particular was a time when rhetoric-based literature reminiscent of『玉臺新詠』 was surpassed, and alternate possibilities of poetry were explored by 盧照鄰, 駱賓王 and other poets. This study examines the specific momentum for another poetic forms that exceed 『玉臺新詠』from the poetic works of 盧照鄰 and 駱賓王.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究では初唐の文学趨勢について、六朝末期文学との関連の上から考察した。従来もこの様な試みはあったが、それらは主に韻律面や形式面から盛唐詩の胚胎を見出すことが主な目的となっていた。これはつまり、個々の詩人の内的な部分の検討や、それぞれの詩文についてはあまり着眼されてこなかったということでもある。本研究では宮廷外の詩人達の個々の詩文を丁寧に読み解くことで、初唐期の六朝末期文学受容の一端を明らかにした。
個々の作品内部から初唐期の文学趨勢を考察した本研究は、唐代文学史、殊に初唐文学から盛唐文学に至る流れを考える上で、一定の意義を示すことができたと言える。
