| Outline of Research at the Start |
我々は、大規模高齢者コホート研究の知見を基盤としたポピュレーション・アプローチとして、地域におけるフレイル早期発見プログラム「フレイルチェック」を開発した。しかし現在、フレイルを早期発見した高齢者の予防行動を地域で支援する体制が整備されていない課題がある。今回、フレイルチェックと地域に根差した食支援を一体的に提供するモデルを産学官民連携により新たに構築し、地域におけるフレイル予防を加速させることを目的とする。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
After organizing the knowledge about frailty, food, and the existing community dining, we conducted the participant observation at the community dining event and in-depth interviews to the stakeholders of frailty check-up program and community dining. Finally, we have elaborated a handbook that summarizes the significance and function of the community dining, the points for linking the community dining with frailty prevention activities, and the measures to infection control of COVID-19.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究が提示したコミュニティ食堂とフレイル予防活動を基盤とした食支援の一体的提供のモデルは、フレイル予防にコミュニティ食堂という恒常的な「場」の機能（高齢者に食を通した支援、居場所、情緒的交流）を付加できること、フレイル予防の評価と食事場面における詳細な観察から専門職に繋ぐ基準を明確にできること、これまで参加していなかった住民層を掘り起こせること等、現状の課題の解決に寄与しうるものである。
