| Outline of Research at the Start |
1.これまでの科学教育の枠を超え技術・工学・数学までをも横断する、特に自由研究・探究に焦点を絞ったSTEM教材・AL型授業を開発する
2.「自由研究・探究スキル」を理科の見方・考え方、科学についての知識等を踏まえて児童・生徒でも実行可能なレベルにまで要素分解し、要素毎の習熟度をルーブリックで評価するだけでなく、各要素が身につく教材・AL型授業を開発する
3.これまで暗黙知であった「自由研究・探究スキル」を形式知化させることで児童生徒だけでなく、指導技術が不十分と感じていた教員のスキルアップを目指す

We have developed STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education programs that enable students to acquire "inquiry skills" and rubrics for "inquiry skills" from the perspective of viewpoint of science.

新学習指導要領において高等学校で「理数探究」が新設される他、教科横断の「総合的な探究の時間」も始まっていき、ますます探究活動が重視されていく傾向にある中、これまでの科学教育の枠を超え技術・工学・数学までをも横断する、特に自由研究・探究に焦点を絞ったSTEM教材・AL型授業を開発した点に学術的意義や社会的意義がある。
