Outline of Research at the Start

力学系の不変集合やパラメータ空間をパズルピースと呼ばれる小部分に分解し、それらの間の関係の記述に基づき大域的な構造を捉える。与えられた力学系をパズルピースに分解するためには、力学系の一様双曲性が破綻する「力学系的臨界点」を明示し、それを用いて全体の統制を行う必要がある。最初から一般の力学系を考察することは困難が大きいので、まず具体例の考察から開始する。Henon写像については、研究代表者がすでに漸近双曲性を持つパラメータの存在を示し、力学系的臨界点も明示した[H. Takahasi, arXiv:1308.4199]。これらのパラメータでパズルピースの構成を試みる。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

Quite a few promising results on large deviations, thermodynamic formalism, multiracial analysis have been obtained on dynamical systems lacking the uniform hyperbolicity such as unimodal maps, countable Markov shifts and haterochaos baker maps. These results are expected to play vital roles in the analysis of Henon maps at the first bifurcation parameter.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

一様双曲性を持たないエノン写像の解析に端を発した本研究であったが、本研究期間内では、エノン写像自体の研究よりもむしろ、その周辺の他の重要な力学系の研究に大きな進展があった。これらの成果はそれ自体で意義が深いだけでなく、今後にエノン写像の力学系の解析を進める上で重要な手がかりを与えることになると期待される。また、本研究費を用いて2023年8月主催した国際研究集会「KiPAS Dynamics Days」では国内外から述べ100名以上の参加があった。本研究集会に参加した若手研究者と海外の研究者の間での共同研究も始まりつつあり、我が国の力学系理論のレベルアップに貢献できた意義は大きい。
