Research Abstract |
Etiology of eosinophilic otitis media (EOM) was elucidated. Th2-related inflammation is dominant in middle ear cavity of EOM patient. When otorrhea increases, Thl-related reaction accompanies. Innate immune reaction is activated more than that of chronic otitis media. Diagnostic criteria was determined by a cooperation with other facilities.
