Research Abstract |
In this study, we have developed self-assembling molecules containing chromic moieties which respond to external stimuli such as photo-irradiation, mechanical stress, and solvents, with changing their colors and structures. These molecules form self-assembled functional materials such as organogelators, liquid crystals, and thin films with chromic properties.
