| Research Abstract |
ツガは、近世の西日本で建築用材として広く利用されており、年輪年代法の対象として以前から有望視されていた樹種でもある。本研究では、ツガ独自の暦年標準パターンを新たに作成することを目的に、現生、古材データの収集に努めるとともに、実用化に際しての基礎的事項を検討した。その結果、一定の地理的範囲でパターンが共通するなどの知見から、ツガもヒノキやスギなどと同様に年輪年代法を適用しうることが確認できた。
