Research Abstract

超塑性は金属材料などで観察される塑性変形の一種であり、低い荷重の下で大きな均一伸びが得られる。超塑性変形においてしばしば確認されるしきい応力の存在は超塑性成形条件を狭めてしまうため、しきい応力の発現機構を理解し制御できるようになることは材料科学的な関心であるのみならず工業的にも重要な課題であった。本研究では、溶質元素がマグネシウム合金の超塑性しきい応力に及ぼす影響を明らかにした。
