Research Abstract |
Wnt signaling pathway play important roles in many developmental processes in animals. I identified a new modulator of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway, named DBP, to negatively control this pathway via binding to Dvl. In addition, it was found that Wnt5a, a member of 19 Wnts, inhibits Wnt3a-dependent activation of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway by competing with Wnt3a for binding to the Wnt receptor Frizzled 2.
