| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究の目的は、高等教育機関における学修支援活動の成果を「アウトカム・ベースで評価するフレームワークと手法」を開発することである。これまでの学修支援活動の成果報告は、アウトプット・ベースが中心だった。アウトカム・ベース評価では、利用学生の行動やチュータリングの変化等を可視化することで、学修支援活動を質の面からも評価することができるようになる。計画としては、まず評価のフレームワークを作成し、それに合わせて学修支援の効果を測ることができる手法を複数開発する。この評価方法の導入によって学修支援活動がいっそう活性化し、学生により効果的なサポートを提供できるようになることが本研究のねらいである。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to develop a framework and evaluation methods to assess the learning support outcomes in higher education institutions in an objective manner. At the beginning of the study, reports on learning support outcomes focused mainly on quantity, but there is a need to shift toward quality-based evaluation. This study is notable for its capacity to measure changes in the awareness and behavior of students who received learning support and changes in the tutoring techniques and content provided by the staff. The findings are expected to help institutions improve the quality of their learning support through a mechanism for measuring effectiveness.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究は、学修支援活動を行う組織および支援を受ける学生の変化を測定し可視化することをねらいとした。研究成果であるフレームワークは4レベル6項目で構成され、それぞれの項目を測定する手法を開発した。本研究の学術的意義は、可視化が比較的困難だと想定されていた学修支援の効果を体系的にはかる方法を構築した点にある。また学生の多様化が拡大する現在、学びの質を担保するために個に即した対応が求められている。この現状に対し、学修を支援する組織や人材の質を向上させることを目的としたフレームワークの存在は、高等教育機関での学びを円滑に進めるための有効な手法の一つとなり得る。これが本研究における社会的な意義である。
